1. Check-in and check-out
times
Check-in begins at 2:00 pm. Check-out by 10:00 am.
2. Parking
Two parking spots are provided for each four-bedroom cottage. One parking
spot is provided for each two-bedroom and three-bedroom cottage. If more
than the allotted space is needed, it will be necessary for our guests
to use parking by the washrooms. Boat and trailer parking is permitted
only by the washrooms. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at owner's
expense.
3. Children
We love to have children as guest; a playground is provided for their
enjoyment. Parents or guardians must supervise their children at all times.
Children under 16 may not be left unattended. No unsupervised children
in restrooms.
4. Use of cottages, contents & equipment
Guests are asked to treat cottages, contents and equipment as if they
were their own. Normal wear and tear is to be expected. We will be forced
to charge extra for an excessive abuse or destruction.
Place all trash in a dumpster located by the washrooms. This will keep
the place clean and enjoyable for everyone. Guests are responsible for
themselves, their children, visitors and pets along with the cleanliness
of their cottages. No smocking in the cottages!
5. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the cottages. You can bring your pet and keep
it near the cottage but, please, consider bringing an outdoor protection
for it. They must be leashed and are NOT allowed on the beach, playground
or in the buildings. Please remember to use Fido's 'pooper scooper'! (Please,
note that in case of not following this rule, your pet will not be allowed
on the property anymore.)
6. Excessive noise
Quiet time for Glen-Lor Lodge is from 10:00pm to 7:00am. Excessive noise,
loud stereos, all day and all night partying are not permitted.
7. Any visitors allowed from management
We will charge:
$ 5.00 per person per day;
$ 3.00 per child per day
All visitors must leave before 10:00 pm.
8. Fire
Absolutely NO cutting of live trees for firewood. There is firewood ($5.00)
and kindling available at the office.
Fires must be attended to at all times within the specified fire ring
and kept at a controllable level. All fires must be extinguished upon
retiring.
9.Different
Swim in the designated beach area only. This is a provincial law requirement.
Glen-Lor Lodge is not responsible for personal injury, loss, and stolen
or damaged articles of any kind.
Please observe the 5mph speed limit. It is for everyone's safety and protection
and will be enforced.
Please obey the laws and by-laws of our municipality,
and also the laws of the Province of Ontario governing the beach area
and the provincial parks.
The above rules and regulations are in place in order to insure the enjoyment
of all our guests. The management of Glen-Lor Lodge will enforce all rules
and regulations; anyone in violation of these rules and regulations will
be asked to leave the property.
